Toys of the year 2007 - 13
Again, apologies for being late, was at work again.

This is the last one, the final toy.

Violin

I don't play violin. But I want to learn someday. And I got a great deal because *gasp* the liner of the case is the wrong color. The manufacturer uses a new color now.

nice. 1st thing to do: put new strings on that sucker. Most cheapo training violins come with POS metallic strings. This not an electric guitar - you have sensitive vibrations caused by the bow rubbing on them. So get a pack of Dominants or other synthetic gut string. Also, upgrading to a real-hair bow would be nice, since the real-hair bows take the rosin better.

I'll certainly take the string thing under advisement. I'll still have to learn to play it, though.

Amazingly enough, the thing did come with a real horsehair bow, so that will be nice.
